Living Room Surgery, etc

In these first two pictures, you see Loren doing minor surgery on a brother here in Puerto Maldonado. She is actually working on taking a small worm out of his arm which was laid there by a moth of some sort. We haven’t had any of these in us yet, and in case you didn’t guess, we’re glad about that fact! =)

We’ve had worms before, but not the kind you can get out with a pocketknife, assuming that’s what you’re using there! And what’s with the cucumber/squash? Part of your minor surgery? Remind me to stay away from moths, and from Loren, when I visit you! She looks like she’s having MUCH too much fun.

David, I just had an exciting adventure last night with another type of worm that lays it’s eggs in one’s feet. I think i got everything out…
